Roofing is not a seasonal job, you can expect year round employment and when the construction industry is slow, someone always needs a new roof!

 

Positions:

​

-Laborer: entry level, receives on job training, eventually becomes a roofer.

-Roofer: knows basics of roofing, flashing and finishing.

-Lead person: right hand person to foreman.

-Foreman: head of roofing crew,  runs job.

-Warehouse Mgr: prepares for upcoming job starts, inventory, equipment maintenance, purchases supplies and small tools.

-Superintendent: in charge of all field personnel;  direct supervisor over foreman, lead person, roofers and laborers.

-Safety Manager/Human Resources: hiring and training as needed; oversee all safety aspects of job sight; assist project manager.

-Project Manager/Estimator:  sells and estimates jobs.
